Hi!

My name is Gemma and I am an artist from Amsterdam.

I studied industrial design engineering at the technical university of Delft but my passion is drawing. These days I am most interested in visual storytelling, I love drawing cute things and especially working on picture books. 

Besides illustrating other peoples stories I also write my own picture book stories. I finished my first dummy which is currently being reviewed by dutch publishers for possible publication. I am already working on a second, and I plan to make many more.

I can appreciate funny stories without a deeper message but I would also love to work around topics like female empowerment, diversity, lgbtqia+ representation, disability, veganism, body positivity, mental health awareness, sustainability.
